Kristina Henderson

Owner & CEO

2020 Mrs. New Jersey, CEO, Business Owner, Philanthropist, Advocate for Women in Business, and Motivational Speaker 

 

Kristina Henderson is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner of Henderson Promos in Red Bank, New Jersey. Beyond her roles as CEO and 2020 Mrs. New Jersey, Henderson is fully immersed in the New Jersey nonprofit and business communities. 

 

Henderson was named 2021 Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ, she received the 2021 ATHENA® Young Professional Award by the Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce, the 2021 Girl Scout’s of the Jersey Shore’s Phenomenal Women Under 40 Award, the 2021 Monmouth & Ocean County Development Council’s Community Service Silver Gull Award, the 2021 Brookdale Distinguished Alumni Award, the 2021 Applaud Our Kids Foundation’s Round of Applause Award, and placed Top 6 at the national Mrs. American Pageant in Las Vegas. Henderson Promos ranked the 2022 #10 in Northeast Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in the U.S.

 

During her reign as Mrs. New Jersey, Henderson visited with women in all 21 counties of New Jersey to support them and the local economy during the COVID-19 pandemic. On June 8, 2021, Henderson held an extraordinary, red-carpet event in Red Bank, New Jersey, honoring the “Stars of Women in Business.” About 100 women attended the networking event and awards presentation where several women leaders in television, business, and the nonprofit arena were honored for their contributions to the community and to the advancement of women. A high school graduate also received the first annual “Kristina Henderson Empowering Young Women Scholarship” for college.

 

She is on the advisory board for a nonprofit called “Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Foundation” which provides free dance and music lessons for children in need.

 

During the height of the pandemic, Kristina and her husband donated more than 125,000 masks to frontline workers and families in need through a collaboration with Feeding America. They donated the masks to food banks and nonprofits in five states to help keep employees, volunteers, and the community COVID safe. Their efforts received national and local attention on Good Morning America, NBC, and ABC.

Henderson graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.

 

Henderson became a flight attendant at the age of 19. She went on to be a television news producer in New Hampshire before becoming the Co-Owner and CEO of Henderson Promos, LLC. When Kristina's not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Bart, her son, Brody, and her two dogs, Gatsby and Kona, at the Jersey Shore. 



Barton Henderson, ESQ

Barton Henderson is a passionate entrepreneur who focuses on community impact and company branding. In 2013, Barton founded Henderson Promos, a full-scale promotional products firm. In 2022, Henderson Promos was ranked number 10 on Inc. Magazine’s NorthEast list of the fastest growing privately owned companies in the U.S.

 

Barton was recognized as a business and community leader on New Jersey’s Top Forty Under 40 list in 2022 by NJBiz. New Jersey’s premier business authority. Barton is an investor in projects that span many industries, he owns a successful property investment company and has launched and sold a national PPE distribution company. He is a partial owner of the Camp Bird Gold Mine and rare earth metals mine in Ouray, Colorado, one of the only EPA preapproved mines in the United States. He is an owner of The Grippery, a company that is pioneering a quicker easier way to regrip golf clubs. Currently he is focused on revolutionizing the landscaping industry with his robotic landscaping company, Grassi USA, which reduces noise and air pollution.  

 

He has worked on local and national political campaigns and in the U.S. Senate with an expertise in political communication and social media engagement. Barton was an honorary advisor on the NGO Committee on Sustainable Development (NGOCSD), an organization involved in consulting and implementing agreements with the United Nations (U.N.) committee on sustainability.

 

Barton is committed to building up those around him. In 2021, Barton was honored with the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council Community service award. He serves on the Christian Brothers Academy Alumni Board and Serves on the Board of the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council.

 

Barton gained a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Administration of Justice from University of Hawaii- Hilo, summa cum laude. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate at the University of Massachusetts School of Law, cum laude, and his Masters of Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts Charlton College of Business. Barton spends his free time with his wife, Kristina, Son, Brody, and their dogs, Gatsby and Kona.
